AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF REV. JOHN S. LACHANA

Rev. John Seidu Lachana was born in Ghana to Police parents. He was brought up in a very strict and disciplined environment. Even though his parents were not Christians they took him to Catholic School where he had all his elementary and high school education.

By the end of his high school his dream was to become a Medical Doctor. As he was studying in 2-year Pre-University program in Accra Academy, Ghana a compulsory requirement at that time he encountered the Lord. No wonder he was attracted to numerous men of God who took so much interest in him. In fact he was known among his peers as the ‘Friend of the Pastors’. In August, 1985 he received his calling to the ministry and he left his native country to a new country, Nigeria in January 1986 which would become his second home - the beginning of a New Era. Here he attended A.M.T.S. Theological Seminary in Lagos, Nigeria for 3-years where he received Theological and Practical training. He received the overall Prestigious Best Student Award for the 3-consecutive years.

Rev. Lachana was ordained in 1991 after serving 3-years of ministerial service at Eastern part of Nigeria. He planted and pastored two churches within that period. He was transferred to Lagos to pastor one of the biggest churches in Lagos, Nigeria. Great and mighty things happened during the 3-glorious years in Lagos including a completion and dedication of a cathedral style church edifice, his name engraved in a marble plaque at the main entrance of the church in appreciation to a selfless service in ministry.

In 1994, there was a special request of him to come to U.S.A. on Ministerial and Evangelical trip for 3-weeks. By special demand he was retained by the people of New York to help in various Ministry challenges. Here he mentored, supervised and pastored 3-churches in Brooklyn, Manhattan and The Bronx for the next six years. Within this period under review he registered in a private college in New York where he bagged his Bachelor of Science in Theology degree in 1998.

In 2001 there was a call to come to Atlanta, Georgia and after a divine inquiry he proceeded in 2002 and The Church Of The Lord (Amazing Grace Center) was planted in the heart of Riverdale, Georgia. A non-denominational church where everybody is somebody. Since Pastor Lachana has been teaching and preaching and mentoring this great church where signs and wonders abound. Rev. Lachana is called to the office of Prophet and Pastor with an Apostolic Mantle. An extra-ordinary gifted man of God with a strong pastoral and healing anointing. He and his First Lady Felicia have passion for Healthy Marriages, Pregnant women care, Disabled & Elderly Ministries and Hiv/Aids Ministries.

In the year 2003 Rev. Lachana, after several refusals and numerous persistent pressures, finally returned to Nigeria to receive an Honorary doctorate in Ministry.

Rev. Lachana is a gift to the kingdom of God. He is married to the quiet, exquisite and humble Felicia and they are blessed with a 7-year old daughter Jessica.

Rev. Lachana is also known for his passion for missionary work, notably West African countries, Europe and Asia.
